Hey there, fellow beaders!!
I'm Katelyn, 18, and in the summer of 2007 I was diagnosed with Takayasus Arteritis after suffering a minor stroke. It's an autoimmune disease that makes my arteries swell shut for no apparent reason. I'm on steroids now which keep down the swelling...but they make you gain weight like no tomorrow.
I spend a lot of time at home now, and had to find a way to entertain myself, so I started beading- and found out it's the only thing I have patience for. So posted here I will have my work and later some patterns I designed using Adobe Illustrator, hope you enjoy!!

I got hit with an AVM, which is a stroke similar condition, at a young age. Leaving me paralyzed on my right side.

I don't know anything about your condition, but I can tell you that if physicl therapy is any part of your recovery, treat it with all the intesity you would a religion, although don't over do it. I walk, drive and except when very tired, talk with out any sign that there is any defect.

Good luck. And your bead design is attractive. I know nothing about jewlery design other than what I like.
